| Dear Friends of the EPP Party, The COVID-19 crisis is testing the resilience of our societies, citizens and democratic systems. Times like these require responsibility, dedication and leadership. And the European People’s Party is once again ready to rise to the occasion. In these challenging times, we remain fully committed to supporting our political family and all European stakeholders engaged in finding the solutions required by our citizens. In recent weeks we have successfully held several EPP ministerial meetings via videoconference and, with the support of our EPP ministers and European Commissioners, we will keep providing these and other innovative platforms of exchange and coordination to our decision-makers. This dispatch is another initiative of our party aimed at contributing to a much-needed reflection on how to deal with and overcome the effects of the current crisis. I invite all the members of our political family to get in touch with us and share content, ideas and examples of good practices, that you might consider helpful to our parties, our leaders and our decision-makers. Now more than ever, our continent needs effective policies, responses and swift actions. This is what people expect from us. We at the EPP count on your engagement, support and initiative to help Europe overcome this new challenge.
