Dear Mrs. Manalang and son,

It is with profound sadness that we learned about the painful loss of your husband and father.

On behalf of the Presidency of the Centrist Democrat International (CDI-IDC) and on our own name, we wish to express our most sincere sorrow to you, your son Juan Edgardo and all your family in these very difficult moments, and to convey to you our heartfelt support.

It has been an honour to personally know Edgardo Angara, in his capacity as Vice-president of CDI-IDC, and as a friend. We have nothing but good recollections of him both as a politician and as a human being.
