Resolution on the call for global partnership for post-pandemic green
\ngrowth and recovery toward shared prosperity <\/p>\n
The Cambodian People\u2019s Party (CPP), as the CDI Vice-President, has relentlessly pushed for an
\nopen and inclusive multilateralism in order to build a global community of social resilience and
\nshared prosperity based on the CDI principles and values.<\/p>\n
In this regard, the CPP is committed to advancing these aspirations through international
\ncollaboration and global partnership based on mutual trust, mutual respect and mutual
\ninterest for positive peace and the principles of peaceful co-existence, equal sovereignty, and
\nopen and constructive dialogue in the advancement of global peace and shared prosperity.<\/p>\n
As suggested by the CPP, the CDI calls for a vaccine multilateralism with fair and equitable
\naccess to COVID-19 vaccines under the spirit of \u201cleaving no one behind\u201d.<\/p>\n
In addition, the CDI calls for global partnership and solidarity for the post-pandemic economic
\nrecovery supported by the promotion of multilateralism, enhanced cross-border trade and
\ninvestment, the free flow of regional and global supply chains, international tourism and
\npeople mobility, and the cooperation in technological innovation and digital transformation.<\/p>\n
The CDI hereby recognises Cambodia\u2019s efforts in promoting the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM)
\nand highly appreciates the Kingdom\u2019s commitment to hosting the 13th ASEM Summit in 2021,
\nwhich in essence will be a platform for leaders of the two continents for strategic engagement.<\/p>\n
The CDI also take note with appreciation that, despite the ongoing the COVID-19 pandemic,
\nCambodia has consistently provided a strong momentum to the ASEM process and is
\nconvinced that the ASEM Summit, under the theme \u201cStrengthening Multilateralism for Shared
\nGrowth\u201d, will necessitate advancement of multilateralism, the post-pandemic economic
\nrecovery and the attainment of the UN SDGs 2030.<\/p>\n
The CDI expresses a strong determination towards an enhanced global partnership and
\nconcerted international efforts to pool resources, mutual support and assistance, and shared
\nbest practices in pursuing sustainable and inclusive multilateralism, including COVID-19
\nvaccine development and distribution, and in tackling emerging regional and global issues.<\/p>\n
Finally, the CDI also stresses the need to enhance people-to-people connectivity,
\nparliamentary diplomacy and global partnership to seek pragmatic and innovative solutions
